Dr Atilano is very easy to talk to and takes your concerns and thoughts seriously. She never seems rushed (even when a baby takes her away from her "scheduled appointments") and will answer your questions in a way that is understandable. She readily admits her comfort level, which is a big plus for me, as it takes humility to truly be great. I was one of the 'unpredicted' tough surgerys where none of the pre-op testing showed why I was having such severe abdominal pains. All the ER Drs and my primary care doctor thought it was from a cyst on my ovary that did show up on their exams. Dr Atilana was sure that the cyst was benign yet when she learned I had also been exposed to the Amphibole asbestos which is linked to ovarian cancer she said she would go ahead and remove it. This came at the advice of the Center for Asbestos Related Diseases.
