Should have been open when we visited. No one around. Looks like I was not the only one, considering the other reviews. The owners should sell it to someone who really cares. I live in The Netherlands, not that close by to drop by again...
This was an interesting tour if you are ever in Butte. I found it curious that it was open until the late 80's.

The Dumas Brothel Museum was the highlight of our reunion to Butte after almost 12 years, and was just simply an amazing place and experience. Our tour guide turned out to be one of the owner's, who was a very gracious young man who is very passionate about everything they are doing to save the brothel. They were also very accommodating and allowed us to schedule a tour at 8:30pm, and on a Sunday evening no less! Then when we had to reschedule the tour an hour later than planned, they were still happy to meet us and stayed open past 11:00pm... So thank you Travis! We appreciate your help and especially all of the sacrifices you make to be there and care for the Dumas Brothel... This trip will remain with us until we meet again on our next trip to Butte!
I ordered a dvd of a tour of the brothel. Apparently it was sent to the wrong state twice. But eventually I got it. Very interesting. I hope to visit in person.
