Very clean and comfortable stay in a cabin. I arrived late and they set me up with a key on the office door. Front dest was very polite and free hot cocoa for my son in the morning. We even saw a cute red fox hanging out near the office late at night which we thought was pretty cool. Thanks Butte Koa!
Office staff very friendly and helpful. We had been traveling all day and were looking for a stopping point. The price was very reasonable for a tent space and the space was good sized with grass and trees. Bathrooms need to be updated but were functional. Campground was near road do there was that noise but otherwise quiet. Did not use other facilities such as pool or laundry.
We stayed here a week and had a wonderful experience. The staff is super on it and had the place running like a fine timepiece! Very knowledgeable about the area and history thereof. Also some Damn fine chicken made in house!
Overall, an average and acceptable KOA. Our site was not ideal for our vehicle, which made getting the trailer level difficult, and complicated hook up. We told office staff that upon check out and were told "yes, we know. You shouldn't have been given that site." Thanks a lot! Water turn-on knob too close to stake; hard to turn. Bath house clean, warm, and adequately roomy. Campground pretty dark at night, requires flashlight to get to shower room. Dump station conveniently located. Extremely basic camp store. There is a chicken restaurant on site, but it's closed on Monday so we missed it.
Pretty good they close down for the winter but the Chicken Shack's open and the chickens pretty good and the spaghetti you can comes with it's pretty good and jojos overall it's not too bad the place
