Had trouble with regen system. It was after hours on a Friday night. They called mechanic to meet me at shop, reprogrammed my truck, went thru a regen at shop. Excellent mechanic, super nice people to deal with. No problems with truck since. Been about two months. Will definately keep their number in phone for future and have referred other drivers to them. Very satisfied with service and how I was treated.
I got here at 8 AM with a rough running truck. It took a little while to get somebody to come see it but ultimately Bill Lavelle ,the owner determined that it was a bad Vpod ( suspected as much going in) .The troubleshoot took about a half hr. They said the part wasn't available locally so they had to order it and started installing it at about 4:30pm . I got out about 6 PM. Bill ultimately charged me for the cost of the part & 4 hours of labor @ 110$ ph for a total of about 1000$ which I thought was abusive.
But we're not drinking buddies and I 'll earn more money.....Obviously I will not go there ever again but he did get my truck fixed and got me on my way and for that I guess I'm grateful .
I called this shop at a little after 8 am, told them that my transmission had gone out. I gave Bill the model number of the transmission, he made a couple calls and called me back to inform me that the transmission would arrive that same afternoon. They got my truck in the shop as soon as I arrived and had me rolling out the same afternoon before 6pm. Fantastic service . Thanks Bill and all the staff at LaVelle.
In conclusion , was he friendly? No. Was he fast? Hell no ( i think I saw dealer delivery there at like noon ) . Was he reasonable? Personally I don't think so but you draw your own conclusion.
Called early, got service truck to meet us to confirm trailer would make it to shop. Got to shop as soon as possible, work started on trailer quickly. If you want a latte while waiting, go to the dealership. If you want honest, hard working men, then this is the place for it. Trailer suspension was essentially rebuilt on the drivers side, including loosening the u-bolts to allow the axles to shift back into place. I helped where I could, and the guys were still working on other rigs when I left. Good guys, fair pricing
