The room looked good. The bathtub looked like it was permanently dirty, so we did not use it. Our air conditioner did not work properly; it would turn on and off because the outlet it was plugged into was not working. We noticed at night that it was even arcing and sparking, so we unplugged it. The window was set up to not open; it had no screen and would not stay open. Since the room was hoping, I propped the window open at about 1:30am and the room finally started cooking and we slept better after that. This was my only big complaint. Other than that, our stay was pleasant and the room was decent for the price.

When I booked on the phone, I heard the girl say $55, and when I repeated it back to her, she agreed. 55 and 65 do sound similar, so I'll write that off as a miscommunication, but I had a dog which brought the total to $70. $70 USD made this room super expensive considering all that I've mentioned, and for $90 or $95, I could have gone to a Motel6 or a Super8. $25 being a very small price to pay for a safer location.

Was clean and the staff is great, but it's constructed and maintained as well as you would expect from the cheapest place in town. Don't go to the Italian place/ casino next door. The food is bad and the people are sad and depressing and angry, but maybe that's just Butte, really better to just stay in Missoula

Traveling across the northern States meant staying in lot of different places, I typically selected independent motels generally as they are cheaper than the chains. Generally, I had good experiences for the most part, I paid on average $60-70 USD per night and for the most part, got basic and low budget accommodations, albeit, safe and clean in decent neighborhoods, which is all I expected.

This is a very old motel that is in fairly good condition, clean and well maintained. The beds are decent anwhile they boast a kitchen in every room, I only had a micro and fridge. Maybe the kitchen was behind a blocked off doorway I noticed. But overall very nice. You can tell this place has been updated recently with new flooring, appliances and T Vs the prices are very reasonable. It's a cute place. Going to stay next time through.

Also, they photocopied my ID and my VISA card. My ID, I understand why, however photocopying my VISA has left me feeling incredibly uncomfortable, and I'll probably cancel my card.

I'm sure the staff and owners of this motel work hard on this property; it's a very old with a lot of potential and they probably struggle to make ends meet and do improvements. I get that, but at the end of the day, there are safety concerns people need to be aware of.

I will preface all this by saying that I had not reached out to the staff to share my concerns. Honestly, because I thought asking for a refund would result in a no and I didn't need confrontation at that point in my evening. Perhaps they would have, if given the chance.

Staff was friendly, which is the only positive thing I can say. The room I had was very old, lots of character. I can see that they try to keep it clean, but it is so run down, dinged up, stained carpets, AC held in by duck tape, that it was hard to tell. Super safety concerns: Doors did not have dead bolts or chains. Also, neighbors were loud and despite being a non-smoking room, the room smelled like it had been smoked in in the past.

Unsafe and expensive (for what you're getting.) Online pictures make the motel look cute and quaint. Very rarely will I leave a poor review, but in this case I feel I must as this motel lacks some serious safety basics and that are important for single females and other people who may feel vulnerable when traveling to be aware of before choosing to stay here.

Great place, it has been around a while but the new managers are really nice and have made the hotel look great!
