Glen & Jane (the head toads) were wonderful and helpful. We have stayed in B&B's nation and world wide. Toad Hall Manor is in our top 5. We will stay here again even if we have to go out of our way.
Best stay I have ever had, will never stay anywhere else in Butte
Toad Hall is great. We had a great time during our overnight stay and the hosts are very gracious and make you really feel at home.
I give Toad Hall Manor five stars only because I can’t give it six stars. What a fantastically beautiful home, and Glenn and Jane are perhaps the nicest couple I have ever met. They are so accommodating, warm, and special. I cannot recommend staying at this B&B enough. If you do, please be prepared to answer the question, “Are you salubrious?” It will certainly be one of the first questions you were asked by Glenn. If you are, (in other words, if you enjoy a cocktail in the afternoon) you will most certainly be treated to anything you like. You will not believe this is a B&B when you pull up to the home. This is 11,000 sq. ft. brick mansion with a three-car garage upstairs and a two-car garage down the lower driveway. The home is located on a golf course overlooked by beautiful mountains. If you ask nicely, Glenn may show you his two classic cars: the Jaguar and the Thunderbird. Everything about this day was spectacular. I wanted to move in! We stayed in one of the rooms downstairs. There is a separate living area shared by guests staying downstairs. There is a nice TV and plenty of space to stretch out and relax. As for the city itself, I loved learning about the history of Butte. Glenn recommended a fantastic tour guide named Mark from Butte Urban Safari Tours (BUST) who will take you for a ride around Butte and teach you about the architecture in history while you relax in the back of his golf cart. He knows everything, including where the ghosts hang out! I loved visiting the old mining apparatus, and Montana Tech located high up in the hills. Glenn also will recommend the best restaurants and places to go in town. You will enjoy this inn immensely, just as you will enjoy Glenn and Jane’s wonderful company. What a spectacular place! Seven stars!
We had a wonderful time at Toad Hall. The hosts were very generous and do everything possible to spoil you during your stay. We can't wait to go back!
